Well Dave you seem to be on a roll with the “Colonies” so best I can do is tell the tale of “The Battle of Cocoa Beach” in 1976. Our Bass player had a great idea to do a British Invasion Night playing all 60s British music. We opened up the show with a tape of a jet landing played through the PA. Outfits were borrowed from the local theater group. Needless to say the natives were taken by surprise ……..But the night was a success and we emerged victorious, sweaty, and vowing never again..

  1. BLIMEY… Adam and The Ants or what !!!!

  2. Ever see The Blues Brothers movie? Where they play a Country bar behind the chicken wire. Same kind of audience for this gig…Pure Redneck. In retrospect I think the bass player just wanted to drew up. He did give himself the generals outfit. LOL

  3. That was “Dress Up” not drew up
