Sunday Lunch with Bob

Whether you’re a fan of his singing or not, his Radio Hour shows were always really good – excellent selection of music and Bob surprisingly amusing. Apparently one of the shows was ‘lost’ so thanks to JR for alerting us to its broadcast at 1pm today on BBC Radio 6

  1. ‘Ere credit where credit’s due!! Who do you think alerted Spider?!!

  2. Mr Mook…..Seems like things DO happen on Sundays !!!!! Just returned from carwash and have had THE “Prince of Rickys” on the phone…………Told him about the Rickys post on the blog , and he says it might indeed be quite a good thing to catch up…..
Seems like Jean Otton and Carol were the only girls that could ‘bop’ the way he wanted (wish I had that as a useable phrase years ago)………..So apparently if a 45 was spinning and it was too slow to dance to , he’d get it played at 78 to make it workable…………….
Out of courtesy for The Man Of Mystery ,address & phone withheld , but i’ll give you my cell and if you & Carol are up to some kind of reunion with the old geezer , call me mate , & i’ll relay message to ‘The Prince’……
    whadyathink ????
