  1. When I booked Free into the Parlour, in 196…..? Andy was handling their bookings. They’d not yet had a record released, and had already worked out that agents cost money. He’d found me via a mutual friend Peter Griffin (the man who booked out Human Instinct, if anyone remembers them) and phoned up asking for work giving Pete as reference. I gave them one booking, and they were just amazing. So I gave them a run of 3 more. I think they did one of the three and asked to be released from the last couple, as “All Right Now” was due to be released. Sadly, I agreed.

    Andy was the youngest one of the group, and the business minded one. Before they played in the Parlour (Oasis) the first time, I asked Andy for a line or two, to describe them, as not m any people knew about them. He said “You can say the average age of the band is 16” That was a few years ago……
