The Thrill Is Gone

I’ve just heard from Marc T that BB King has died. I reckon he’s the last of the truly GREAT  bluesmen.

RIP Mr King and many thanks

  1. Another sad loss ,but ‘a good innings indeed’…………….I think I knew this was on the cards when I posted 2nd May after finding out that he was in a hospice…………( with Lucille by his side no doubt)……………..
One of the best days lighting for me…at The Festival Hall a good few years ago……B B King —-Tower of Power—-Blues Bros Band …………..Just a great bill , especially as it was the first night of a ‘jazz’ week……
God bless you B B for being such an influential great bloke and musicians musician……R I P

  2. I’m not a geetar man but appreciate how BB King influenced some of today’s great players. Bloody helll, we’re losing all our heritage,
