Bare Bones Sunday

(Just for a change I’ll be at the cricket – in Hove)

Here’s a last minute reminder that it’s Barebones acoustic music evening on Sunday.  That’s right, Sunday, (NOT Saturday) 7 June, – just three days from now.

We have the Pete Harris Trio.  Starring Pete Harris on guitar, Jeradine Hume’s astonishing voice and harmonica player Jon Vaughan.  Have a listen here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?=tgAKv_1RXIY

And we have Joe Houghton-Gisby.  Brilliant blues guitarist, singer and songwriter.  And he’s young, too!  Bah!!

There will also be some excellent surprise artistes performing short sets for your delectation and delight.  I know who they are and I also know people who would come along just for them!

SUNDAY 7 June in Milton Village Hall, Milton Road, Milton (that’s enough mentions of Milton) in Portsmouth, Hampshire, England, just to avoid confusion!  Doors open at 7.30pm, showtime at 8pm.

  1. I’ve seen Pete Harris’s full band, the R’n’B Allstars, a few times. They are a great band and now they are bolstered by Jeraldine Hume’s fabulous voice they are definitely well worth a listen . She’s a local lass from Wickham, deep in the Meon Delta.

  2. I can confirm Oscar’s words, saw the trio twice recently at Bare bones, yes Jeradine is very good and ‘nice’ and also the full band last week at Horse and Jockey Curdridge. Very good skillful musos, with a very hot keyboard player! (Hate him!)
