Tonight:

A whole bunch of acts at the Coastguard (Rob Milner Quartet, the Plucking Rejects, El Morgan, Tom Easy*, Oh Savage, Trevor Man, DJ Sager) – £5 proceeds to the Refugee Crisis Charity

(* Personally rather lovely to see young Tom gigging. His dad and I played together in Skys is Cryin in the 1970s and now we’re together again in the Southsea Skiffle Orchestra. Tom was maybe 8-10 when his dad and mum used to bring him and his sister to the RMA 20+ years ago to watch Reet, Petite & Gone. And so it goes on!)

Tomorrow night: a reminder that you can see ‘Spider Man’ JR and some of his Motherfolkers mates at the RMA. That one is free but you might have to buy JR a drink or two

or:

There’s a traditional English ‘folky’ feel to the Polite Mechanicals at the Square Tower – tickets £5 in advance or £6 on the door.
