Like the true Archivist

Mick said I should take a photo:

Mick QA

Also, like the true Archivist he’s fretting cos there’s no internet access and he can’t work on keeping his websites up-to-date. On the other hand like the true 60s rocker he’s taking all his drugs.

In truth he’s not having a great time and expects to be in over Christmas at least. He was VERY touched by all the kind messages and is getting a fair number of visitors from friends (he lives alone with no close relatives). If anyone has time to visit or drop a card it’s:

Mick Cooper, E1 Ward, Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, Portsmouth, PO6 3LY

(Pete asks) “What’s that you’re smoking Cooper?”

  1. Give him my best, Dave – can’t visit (obviously) and a card wouldn’t get to him in time!

  2. Plus ! from over here. He is looking pretty good and is still upright which is a good thing. Good lord no Wi-Fi Bet if he sweet talks a nurse she will let him use the staff sign on which I bet they have.

  3. all the best from Jan and I Mick – painful thing to have had and all good wishes for a full and quick recovery

  4. Mick has been moved to Ward E3 (Boxing Day)
