Lemmy RIP


Nothing will ever persuade me to post anything by Motorhead but I’m sorry to report the sudden death of Lemmy so here he is in a rather more amusing act who appeared at the Pier in the early 1970s

    Credit where its due for being a survivor as long as he did . everything without moderation…..including the volume control R I P Mr Lemmy

  2. I have to agree with you Phil. Regardless of what you thought about his music and his lifestyle (and I am not a fan) you have to say he did it all “His Way” and was still out there performing live. I read one account where he changed from Jack Daniels to Vodka and Orange because “It was healthier” A true poster child for a Rick bass. RIP Lemmy and thanks for the show.

  3. Just read that the drummer with The Specials, John Bradbury has also gone to the Great Gig in the sky aged 62.

  4. Thanks Albie – maybe not too much but certainly too young. The Specials played one of the of the GREAT Guildhall nights, with Madness and Selecter (1980?) RIP John.
