Library Archive ‘Live’!

Good news – the Archive of books, articles, flyers etc that I presented to the local history section of the Library (3rd Floor, Guildhall Square) is now available for public consumption (reference). They have done a good job of cataloguing – (a couple of examples below) and I’m happy to send you a complete copy if you wish – email me (dave.allen@port.ac.uk). They’ve confirmed you can go there and request access:

2860A/1/A/1 ‘Twenty Missed Beats: the Portsmouth Music Scene 1977-1996‘ by Tony Rollinson

Portsmouth, Mouthy Publications

2860A/1/A/2 ‘Almost: Forty Years of Southsea Rock and Pompey Blues’ by Dave Allen

London, Minerva Press.

An autobiography, focusing on music as a performer and fan.
