“Things fall apart; the centre cannot hold;

Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world …

The best lack all conviction, while the worst

Are full of passionate intensity.”

  1. And we’ll be getting a clown for PM.

  2. Farage today made a speech in which he declared Brexit was a victory for “ordinary, decent people”. That’s a relief. I’m always worried, having reached my late 60s, that I’m becoming boring.

  3. Please Sir , does this mean we are out of the football. ?

  4. Not yet Jim but we’re certainly winning the cricket this evening!

  5. here’s the scenario everyone……..First part of England out of Europe happened last night……second part on Monday night probably

  6. And presumably when Wales play N Ireland, the latter will Remain and Wales will Exit? You’re getting the hang of this footy lark Phil!

  7. Incidentally never forget that Boris Johnson once wrote on arriving in Portsmouth “Here we are, in one of the most depressed towns in Southern England, a place that is arguably too full of drugs, obesity, underachievement and Labour MPs.” (GQ, May 2007). Someone should tell him that Portsmouth ain’t a town, it’s a city.
