The Biggest Influence?

I’m thinking of the first British R&B/Blues boom circa 1963. Not necessarily the best, but the biggest influence?

Today is the 91st anniversary of this man’s birth. Happy Anniversary Mr Reed

  1. sure’nuff…………………….I’m remembering from those early set lists tunes like…
    Shame Shame Shame
Baby what you want me to do
    Bright lights Big City
    Big Boss Man
now I’m getting the blues from the blues !!!!!

  2. Bit of trivia, weirdly as they weren’t exactly a blues band ,for years the Byrds closed their shows with a medley of an instrumental called ‘Hold It’ and ‘Baby what you want me to do’ .
