That’s us – and as a consequence, those we know or know about, are tending to drop off this ‘mortal coil’ at an increasingly frequent rate. First last week, locally, Barry the Gnome, then Status Quo’s Rick Parfitt and now George Michael. Right at the end of the last century MRA and I spent a Christmas/New Year fortnight in the Spanish mountains at an ‘alternative’ centre (Andalucia – lots of meditation, healing, creativity etc – you know, typical Christmas) and I played this album loads. I thought he was pretty good and sorry to see him go.
