Pink Fraud?

There’s a story in today’s Guardian (which now features psychedelia every day) that Pink Floyd might get back together to play Glastonbury. Except of course that neither of the two key figures in their sound, Syd Barrett and Rick Wright are still with us – but at least they’ll have Dave Gilmour

Except they won’t apparently, since they’re admitting he’s retired

Which leaves

A very grumpy, opinionated bass guitarist and a drummer who likes fast cars

I suppose it’s their Drum ‘n’ Bass phase.

  1. And the Guardian also has an amusing piece on touring by the talented singer songwriter, Emily Barker:

  2. I recently bought the beautifully packaged Pink Floyd box set “Endless River”. Nice little hardback book, three postcards – including a hologram, a CD and a DVD. Unfortunately the music is boring as fuck. Still, looks great on the shelf. Where it will remain……

I can recommend the “Wish You Were Here” and “Momentary Lapse of Reason” trance remixes however.
