While R is for …

It’s OK, I’m not getting ahead of myself

Apparently on this day, 50 years ago (6.3.1967) ITV launched a show that was intended to replace Ready Steady Go!

It was called The Rave, and the first edition included Pink Floyd playing “Arnold Layne” and a 30 minute set by the Move

But I can’t remember it at all. Can you?

  1. Actually, this website says it was the Move’s own TV show: https://www.pf-roio.de/voio/TV.html

  2. Maybe this Granada TV production wasn’t shown in the south.
