  1. I listened on catch up. Very enjoyable although the records got cut. Were you not introduced to Miles at our posh school. I remember a lot of us went out and bought a lot of the Brubeck albums and one of my favorites is still Miles with Gil Evans and the Porgy and Bess album

    • Cheers Nigel. I never was – didn’t know many jazz lovers in my year although I had a pal, Brian Jones, whose dad collected jazz, bought Billboard, and took us to see MJQ & Duke Ellington. The Miles stuff that confused me at the IOW was very different from the Gil Evans, Birth of Cool or Kind of Blue thing. I love it now but back then couldn’t figure it (It’s called “Call It What You Want”)
