Sorry to have been away for a while. MRA is having a new kitchen built, life is chaotic, and I’ve just this morning completed a new cricket book. Anyway, while I was away, that Humble Pie project has come to fruition with the album and a whole bunch of stories, a photo of a Pier gig, and lots of credits, including this (n.b. last paragraph):

Graham Laker sent this, reckons it was a special birthday party at the Wedgewood Rooms for ex-Hot Rod and Basins man Jim Lawrence – I couldn’t date it on first look but I guess about 30 years ago and me with my mate Lenny – were we playing together then in the Reds? Quite possibly.
